Queen Amidala Makeup & Costume Ideas
Queen Amidala was famously portrayed by actress Natalie Portman in the Star Wars prequel trilogy films. Padmé Amidala was revealed to be the wife of Anakin Skywalker (aka Darth Vader) and mother of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia.
Padmé is first introduced in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace as the newly crowned queen of Naboo who is just 14 years old.
She leads a life of public service with diplomacy and pacifism, but won't hesitate to use aggression and force when necessary. She is trained in hand-to-hand combat and is an expert markswoman. Queen Amidala prefers to be addressed with "Your Highness", "Your Majesty", or "Your Royal Highness."
A popular look of the queen can be seen above - flowing, long ruby red gown with faux fir trim and intricate gold detailing. Her head is adorned with an elaborate imperial headpiece and she wears white face makeup with minimal red lips and a small red circle on each cheek.
I don't believe what I'm hearing! Obi-Wan was right… you've changed! You have turned to the dark side! You're not Anakin anymore!
